All merchantable timber (clear-cut) was harvested from these parcels in July 2017.  The land is ready for a timber investor to efficiently install a loblolly pine plantation for future return.  The NC Forest Service and the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) may have reforestation cost-share programs paying 40-80+ percent of reforestation expenses if qualifying.  An aerial chemical site-prep treatment in the summer 2018 followed by hand-planting 400-600 trees per acre of genetically improved loblolly pine in winter 2018-2019 gets you building timber wealth quickly. 

For the hunting enthusiast, this tract is ideal.  Game species inhabiting the property are White Tail Deer and American Wild Turkey.  This area is seeing more and more Black Bear.  Mosaic vegetation and land uses are ideal for wildlife management in this region.  If not a hunter, you may consider generating income to off-set property taxes and management expenses by offer a hunting lease to a hunter for club.
